The proposal to create the research group in Biotechnology and Environment (INBIAM) arises as an initiative of an interdisciplinary group of professors-researchers trained with a high academic level and with research experience in the Biotechnology-Environmental Field. The research group aims to generate proposals focused on the quality of life of people, preserving the environment and involving the different actors of society in an interdisciplinary confluence of academia at the service of social development and promotion.
The proposal to create this group is due to different needs detected such as: the generation and application of knowledge of environmental sciences to solve the current problems that society suffers, and fundamentally the need to maintain a consensus criterion in a specific research area with academic purposes of publishing results.
