Abstract

As technology advances, several areas of knowledge merge and others appear, as well as Wireless Network Control Systems (WNCS) which are physically distributed systems, where sensors and actuators communicate with the controller through wireless networks, i.e. control systems that close their control loop through the cloud. This text provides information on the concepts and characteristics of wireless network control systems, to support the theoretical basis on which will be presented an alternative PID controller based on events with estimators for linear systems and heuristic tuning algorithms, also reviews and describes two applications which will determine the model of the plant on which to implement a predictive controller, also presents in detail the implementations made.
