Abstract
The Third International Congress of Science, Technology and Innovation for Society, CITIS, held on November 30, 1 and 2 December 2016 and organized by the Salesian Polytechnic University, confirms the need to create suitable spaces for the presentation, dissemination and exchange of research results in the academic community. CITIS 2016, opens to international level in its third edition, allowing the dissemination of theoretical and technological advances presented by researchers in the university academic field. The lines of research for this year highlight the contribution to the improvement of the quality of life, social transformation and ethical, economic and civic responsibility, among others, which show a restless search to help our society concerned about the human and social dimension in the responsible development of science and technology.
