Abstract
The oratory is the platform that capitalizes in a processual way the rich experience of education in the West: paideia, humanitas, divinitas. From that summit, a more objective approach is made to the contents of preventive pedagogy: reason, religion and love. Preventive pedagogy is not the cause of oratory, but the oratorian experience, disturbed and rich in didactics, which gives rise to the preventive system.
