Abstract

This paper presents the applications of a Nonlinear Model Predictive Controller (NMPC), this nonlinear controller uses the Nonlinear Extended Prediction Self-Adaptive Controller (NEPSAC), furthermore uses the Generalized Model Predictive Control (GPC) and PID to the control of a Dryer Plant of Cocoa Beans. It shows characteristics of the plant, and it realized the identification for know their dynamic. For the implementation of the controllers used a PC (Matlab software) and embedded system for the collect the data, finally the resulting controllers are compared.
