Abstract

This publication combines relevant qualitative and quantitative information on the situation of women in the provinces of Imbabura and Sucumbíos, as well as legal and citizen tools to influence policies for the prevention of women's rights, especially the right to a life free of violence. CARE and the Salesian Polytechnic University share with social and women's organizations, non-governmental organizations and government entities this work of research, reflection and proposal that is nothing more than an orderly set of approaches, practices and experiences that are developed every day with persistence, joy and optimism in welcoming populations and in a situation of human mobility in the northern border of Ecuador.
