Abstract

© 2018 IEEE. This document presents the study of the impact generated in rehabilitation therapies in children with disabilities by using interactive tools created with Kinect for the application of therapies in the Child Neurodevelopment Area of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) - Cuenca, where the areas of special education, early stimulation, language therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy converge. The development of serious games constitutes tools that break schemes of a linear therapeutic process, since it involves the knowledge of the professional with the interaction of learning while playing, thus achieving the desired objectives in therapy.
