Abstract

© 2017 IEEE. The new ecosystems of ICTs are changing, dynamic and diverse, so that traditional networks must evolve towards a new centralized, scalable and resilient management that is beyond the boundaries of the data center, reaching the wide area network service providers. However, this transition entails the deployment of new scenarios in which traditional technology and software-defined networks (SDNs) converge, giving rise to various hybrid scenarios. In this paper new cloud ecosystems and Internet of Things (IoT) are implemented in a real environment, applying the concept of living laboratory, which allows to evaluate the hyperconvergence of SDN-WAN and hybrid cloud as network services.
