Abstract
The practices and discourses manifested in social intervention devices that work with women in Ecuador and Chile contribute to the construction of a victim-subject as a justification of a citizen's rights perspective. From two qualitative researches in services with a gender perspective in Ecuador (gender violence) and Chile (inclusion of immigrant women) we seek to understand what are the matrices of understanding of the intervention with women that situates them as victims; how social interventions from this subject constitution generate certain effects on users and interveners; and address some resistances (Deleuze and Guattari 2012 [1988]) that appear in the relationship between professionals and users that escape from these conceptions and practices.
