Patrimonio Inmaterial: Tres Estudios De Caso en Ecuador, Colombia y Perú

Currently, the notion of cultural heritage has become a sort of commonplace, not only for the social sciences but also for society in general. This article aims to achieve a better understanding of how heritage nominations are thought and lived in the field of "intangible", from the institutional framework, but also from the actors generating the social expressions that today are part of the "representative list of intangible heritage of humanity" of UNESCO. In a first moment, an approach to the notions and concepts related to patrimonialization will be made, to then move on to a critical evaluation of these elements in the particular context of the patrimonialization of the intangible proposed by UNESCO. A second moment we focus our critical look on the social actors and the implications generated by the nominations in particular realities through the approach to three case studies in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
