Abstract

The violence used against those who violated these provisions forced our ancestors to fuse these expressions in other practices that allowed them to remain in force, such as the Wantiyay that was sung at the funerals of adults; The halajojo that is present in the celebration of the inti raymi; the haway, in the days of harvest; the haylli, hallalla, huyayay, in the great days of mobilization; the hayllariaku, in the battles of territorial defense, as well as in expressions of the daily speech as the mana, shinamari, or ajajay, etc.
