The paper shows that the same hardware can be used for active power injection from PV arrays to the mains, reactive power compensation with current harmonic mitigation, and active power balancing in two-phase residential systems. A three-leg two-level voltage source inverter is used for this aim and current loops based on DC link voltage control are developed.
