Abstract
The present work intends to approach from a critical perspective on Anthropology and Cultural studies, and try to find among them the points of encounter and rupture in relation to their views on culture, their epistemological approaches, their methodological contributions, especially in relation to ethnographic methods, and above all their ethical and political implications. To do this we will initially locate the historicity and the respective processes that make it possible; we will reflect on their postulates, on their encounters and ruptures, and finally we will analyze case studies of researchers who from the dialogue between Anthropology and Cultural Studies are proposing a different proposal for the realization of ethnographic work.
