Abstract

The following chapter presents the design of a device that has the ability to rehabilitate the abduction, adduction, flexion and extension movements of the wrist of a person diagnosed with hereditary angioedema known as HAE. The product allows its daily use, domestic, comfortable and less expensive than a therapy in a specialized place due to the clinical picture of the patient. The device, with two degrees of freedom (GDL), is controlled by programming and servomotors, while the construction is made of materials such as steel, bronze, aluminum, polymer and wood.
