Abstract

The growing interest in online social networks opens up new ways to stimulate interaction between students, teachers and experts. Twitter has become one of the most widely used social networks. In this work we develop a recommender system that identifies authorities on trauma topics and recommends them to students so that they can be followed. Our test results show the feasibility of determining these topic authorities.
