Abstract
In the third chapter, Eloísa Teresita Carbonell Yonfá, in Bilingual intercultural pedagogical constructions in school contexts, reflects on teaching practices observed within the intercultural bilingual education system in force in Ecuador, based on a field study conducted in Amazonian contexts: Kichwa, Wao and Shuar of the Ecuadorian Amazon between 2016 and 2017, presents a historical review of the IBE process of two decades. The chapter starts from the reflection of interculturality understood from the academy, the Ecuadorian legislative framework and what is lived in everyday life in the educational communities observed in the provinces of Napo, Pastaza, Orellana and Morona Santiago. The author makes a proposal focused on building intercultural pedagogical practices that promote the structural and permanent revitalization of the native cultures of Ecuador.
