Abstract

It is clear that in recent years countless simulators have emerged in all possible areas of work to achieve the Industry 4.0 objectives. The Unity Pro software focuses on the study of the options and possibilities offered by virtual environments for teaching in schools and universities. The aim of this work is to create a practical training environment for the simulation and control of a pneumatic process for students of Industrial Process Engineering Automation. This virtual environment uses the MQTT protocol on a Raspberry Pi to transmit an instruction for the control of a real FESTO pneumatic laboratory based on what the students develop during their virtual classes, giving and facilitating to the student and teacher a new method that accelerates the learning process.
