The Artificial Intelligence and Assistive Technologies Research Group (GIIATA) was created based on the need to provide solutions and assistance to people with disabilities, which in our country alone represent 12.8% of the population. For this reason, the Salesian Polytechnic University, through the Vice-rectorate for Research, in its constant search to create research processes that will allow the generation of true spaces of social inclusion, has been supporting in a disinterested way and with its characteristic Salesian spirit, different institutions of Special Education in the country. All this has been done with the aim of achieving better processes of inclusion and support for the learning of children with various types of disabilities.
