The "GIVABI" Group of Research and Valuation of Biodiversity, is a group in which multidisciplinary thoughts and knowledge converge, working in a coordinated manner generating products of high scientific quality, seeking answers for the best use of biological diversity, the protection of genetic resources, and support to improve the quality of life of the population, within the margin of sustainable development.
Biotechnology affects the whole society and cannot be evaluated from a techno-scientific point of view. It also affects the symbolization of living organisms, the development module and dependency relations. From this perspective it solves problems and generates new questions
The application of chemistry, biology, genetics and technologies in the field of life sciences offer vast fields of cooperation of mutual benefit, science and society. On the other hand, scientific, humanitarian, commercial and political motivations lead to regroupings of researchers and societies, to significant financial investments.
